Each time the murals “The Only Truth” and “Banana” attracted the same amount of attention again and again, I would say it was rather for their symbolism than the size or the place where they appeared. It was a dangerous place for messages of this kind. Something made me do it, some sort of spite. It was my sign of gratitude for the support I got. I think the message was always accurately addressed and more than clear. Such were the responses. The murals would be immediately whitewashed, which is the same as if I was said “It’s okay, but do not thank me publicly anymore.” What else would be social awareness without bravery and adrenaline.

Svaki put su murali „Jedina istina“ i „Banana“ iznova privlačili istu pažnju, rekao bih pre zbog svoje simbolike, nego zbog veličine ili zbog mesta na kome su se pojavljivali. Opasno je to bilo mesto za poruke takve vrste. Nešto me je teralo da to radim, neki inat. To je bio moj znak zahvalnosti za podršku koja mi je pružana. Mislim da je poruka uvek bila tačno adresirana i više nego jasna. Takvi su bili i odgovori. Murali bi odmah bili prekrečeni, što je po meni isto, kao da mi se reklo: „U redu je, ali nemoj više da mi se zahvaljuješ javno!“ Кakva bi uostalom bila društvena angažovanost bez srčanosti i adrenalina.
